Newsworthy

You all know how Jay Leno does the Headlines skit every Monday ( lundi) right after his opening monologue. On August 6, 2007 he aired the newspaper article that I sent him. It was really cool! My article was the cartoon monkey's on the picnic grounds. He saved the best for last and it was the funniest of the night.... If only he had said my name and mentioned Moi.

The Literary Artist Comes to TV In the fall of 2005 I joined the cast of "Making it Happen, Take Action" as co-host of the beloved talk show. It was broadcast live from television station, TV WHPR , Comcast local access channel 71and 88.1 fm radio. It was showtime fun, floating off to the station every Saturday at 3pm. I would set my VCR and leave home. It was amazing knowing that the local people of Detroit were tuning in every week. This smart little show even sparked a reunion between two high school pals of mine. I was thrilled to find out they had been watching every week!

Wayne State University uses local student in ad campaign for Study Abroad

After my trip from Paris some of the coordinators asked to use my likeness and a quote for WSU study abroad poster that they use in getting students interested in The Study Abroad program. They still use it today! Plus, the Eiffel Tower picture contained in my Perfect Paris picture section was also used in a WSU article for the alumni magazine.
